Yeah - I almost retched when I saw this.

Sad.

Not that it matters, the guy will get sucked into the bottomless pit of microsofts 'business process'

I doubt if we even see one useful release from him through microsoft.

You're right. Linux is the easiest, most understandable, user-friendly, uncomplicated and under-hyped OS in the entire world.

*Not a personal dig, I don't really like linux :)

If we're talking 'working with it' as in programmers developing on it then its safe to say that yes they do know whats going on, and its even based on a known system design and OS theory. I never said it was easy to use itself... or underhyped... or whatever. Don't put that bull in my mouth.

Bummer... I wonder if all their tools will be removed from the site?? I had made a GUI for PSExec in PureBasic sometime back. Its been really popular too... Hmm, what to do with it now... http://www.penguinbyte.com/software/ezexecute/

What do you base that insightful statement on?

Drac:

If I go by that point of view, then I can say the exact same about windows and OSX programmers. That does not make Linux "better" per se. There are always bad programmers and good programmers, no matter what OS you are using.

However, we want to talk about ease of use for the average (read most) computer users, then Linux is not even in a usable state. Heck OSX, have usability down pat for average user compared to Linux and it has a smaller market share then linux ... ...
