@Inf0Byt3: If I would be you, I wouldn't inform others that I (you) use a pirated copy of PB
However, you are searching a bit too late, the first PB 4.0 crack came a month after the official release of PB 4.0 .. The crack group was "aRcaDe" or something like that.
I am not saying that I have downloaded the crack or otherwise work for the crack group. In fact, I lastly figured out that PureBasic isn't the right package for me, and therefore I don't code in PB anymore, but I come here to look around in this off-topic forum
I'm now using nothing other than a HEX editor on my Ubuntu box
I'm now not on the EXE side, I am now making websites and JavaScript programs.
And with "this is a joke" I only meant this part of my previous post:
@Inf0Byt3: If I would be you, I wouldn't inform others that I (you) use a pirated copy of PB
But this is a pure fact:

The crack group "arcade" really made the first PB 4.0 crack. If you don't believe me, go to google and enter something like this as the keyword: "PureBasic v4.00 winall arcade" you'll get much more to see than only the PB 4.0 crack.
Yeah, i did know that, but the purpose of this post wasn't to inform you about the cracks, but to find a way of stopping it... Oh, and one question: If I download the demo version of PB, since it doesn't use serials or other direct registration methods, how can I modify it to enable the API functions or anything else? I've got a hunch that it's somebody from the inside who distributed copies .

Yeah me too. And to stop this is impossible; it could be everyone who submits "cracks" of PB to the net.
