Altering briteness/contrast settings of windows desktop

Post by merendo »

I would like to change the brightness and contrast values of my windows desktop remotely, via an exe file that is.

This exe file should actually simply stand back and make the screen briter, darker or change its contrast.

Any idea how this can be done (most likely using API)?

That's not a feature in Windows, it's driver specific, so the way will most likely be different with different drivers.

Indeed. I will check the doc of my gfx driver, maybe it reveals something.

Thank you so much for your help.
