Hi, I see Fred has added a groovy new *web gadget* in PB 3.2

Does anyone out there know of a way to get get access to HTML Forms (item values / names etc).

I've a funny feeling there is but it will be horrendously complex :-(

What do you mean by "get access to" ? Do you want to download the source HTML,
rather than just display it? If so, you could use the URLDownloadToFile API:

viewtopic.php?t=628

No I mean get the values of individual FORM elements and change them via PB like I do with JavaScript - eg:
HTML pseudocode:

PB: pseudocode:
value=webGadgetFormElementValue(window,gadget,formId,formElementId)
if (value="Hello World")
then DoSomething()
else webGadgetFormElementValue(window,gadget,formId,formElementId)="Hello Mum"
endif

I realise these commands dont exist, I just wondered if there might be some wierd API way of doing it :wink:

I think it can be done using OLE with the 'InternetExplorer' object, but i don't know if PB supports OLE.

If you are looking for a way to submit a form with some values that can be done with the wininet api.
