Okay folks. Crying out for help here with some graphics

Post by dracflamloc »

So about a year ago I started making a 2d mmorpg in pb. I got quite sidetracked, but I've started working on it again fixing some bugs and optimizing and tis going well.

I really need someone who can do 2d character art for me, just 48x48 sprites and tiles. Even if people only contribute a couple a piece it would be a big help. (And this is decently serious so it wont be like warg-graphics). If you know anyone who'd be willing to help out with a few have them e-mail me so I can tell them some stuff I want.

Thanks!

heh i ve been working since 9 years on a MMORPG Engine.. atm trying to get the thing into the 3th dimension ( with some success... ) altho atm biting around with the current bugs / limits of PB-Ogre =/ ..

At least time to code tools ...
Am gonna check on the old version files ( we started 2d also ) .. not sure anymore about the size but if i find the old archives you are welcome to use our old gfx ( which were used about 2 years in our game ... ) *sniffles* then the 3d world impact hit ...

I still prefer 2d which is why I use it. I think it has more artistic style and lets you focus on fun gameplay. But if you can find the 2d graphics I'd happily look through it for stuff I can use. (This mmo isnt your typical fantasy world with warriors and wizards)

The ones we made are typical Fantasy ones.. however what Theme are you looking for ?

Well I might still use the typical fantasy world stuff.

I'll have to make the specialty ones on my own since even I dont know exactly what I want yet but I have my general idea.

why not use playmobil or lego models for your first stages? once that looks good, you then can convince the real artists to help you out
