jack wrote:@thefool, the name suits you well, calling people stupid because they believe in God,
is rather foolish, and then saying that people that believe in God should prove to you
that God exist, is again foolish.
If you want to know if God exist, then do some research, do it like a good skeptic that you are.
May I suggest that you take a look at Theosophy, which slogan is "there’s no religion higher than truth"
I have no problem with the fact that you don’t believe in God, just with the way you express it.
And about psychic powers, they are real, but to pursue them is foolish.
Jack i think you don't understand me. Or perhaps i expressed me wrong; i just said that I(as in myself) will NOT believe in it unless its proven. I have really tried to do the research but i found nothing. And i also checked the PSI wheel out!

I don't have a problem with others believing in god, i have a problem with those who say that I should! And i will continiue to discuss it with them, if they continiue to discuss with me.
And about psychic powers, they are real, but to pursue them is foolish.
How can you tell me not to discuss with others? If you say that they are reality how do you even DARE to tell me not to say that they arent real?
I cant find a reason to how you dare to come here telling me not to say that they are fake, and then say they are true when everybody with a little brain can tell that its obviously the POWER OF PHYSICS that moves the wheel and not some stupid moron thinking he can do telekinese!!

No offence (don't take words like stupid and moron like i actually mean it, grap the idea of what i say instead, please...), but how do you even dare to do it :? isnt it against what you just said?

stupid moron thinking he can do telekinese
:D

Just kidding :P

But ok...
You don't believe because you have your reasons not to.
And I believe because I got mine reasons.
Let's leave it with that and respect each other, no one is stupid! :)

And now let me tell you about those aliens throwing rocks at my dad...

People believing in those things (Gods, own life continuing, etc.) i don't know if they could be called stupid, but i know they are serious mental sicky.
And this has no place to discussion, just because it is an absolute true. :)

Now, do you think i am a fanatic atheist?
If yes, sorry for you. 8)

Are real? Mmmhh! i don't know, but i am dying to see some prove of it.
I've never see any prove of it.

It is a pity that in a considered "serious" country like is Germany, is full of democratic-christian people. Big pity.

You misunderstood me; I meant that spending time trying to acquire psychic powers is foolish.
As far as you being skeptic, I think it’s good. :)
@Psychophanta; I'll ignore your stupid remarks.

Pyscho's just being intolerant of other people's belief systems. Perhaps if he was a Christian he would be a part of the inquisition. Or if he was Moslem he would be issuing a fatwa condeming Christians.

Tsk Tsk, Pyscho. :D

But then again, totally on topic and in keeping with the general attitude of this thread. :)

I'm saving up my zinger of an "upset everyone" contribution for later, when the thread needs a new lease of life.

I'm not upset or something, I just don't understand what "germany",
"christians" and "democracy" are supposed to have in common and
what anything of this has to do with this thread ;)

Well at least it won't get boring too soon (and it doesn't even need the
slightest initiation of spiritual power to predict this :D )

LOL.

Google up on how to be a prophet. It is all too easy.

When you have done that, come back here and rephrase your post.

In no time at all you will have a following (a cult, even!) and you can make heaps of money out of them.

I will be your first and foremost disciple, provided I get a decent share of the loot.

Jack is who started to defend the ignorance, the superstition, the animalism and the anti-essence of every individual human. At least Jack (and freedimension) seem the typical neo-christians. And casually they are both from Germany. I know several people from Germany and other parts (not only from this forum) who are the archetype or those mentioned sicknesses.

I have many reasons to confirm religion is sick and a chaotic-non-rational construction-destruction mechanism.

I am involved since more than 2 year in a project of a new system to navigate throuh interstelar space with autonomic spaceships. The system base is indeed too easy to be invented in this century, and my joung foundation is not able to believe this was not invented and designed before.
The christian chusma destroyed an incountable amount of data developed and researched by great minds since several centuries before Christ until almost our days. All that information will never be in humans' hands. Some of them was re-researched and re-discovered and re-invented, but most of it will never be available for human being.
If this my new discovery is finally viable it will suppose a revolution in the space-discovery stuff, but this is not the bigger thing: humanity will ever remember the effects of all that paranoic destruction of those centuries, because the simplicity if the base ideas of these artefacts.
I am really scared about this discovery, most of all because its simplicity.

It is not important if in big wars humanity is almost all alive beings lost, but the important thing is the information which was got by some humans; that info is the important thing if humans have goals: Goals which can not be other than to build beings beyond the time, and beyond the space. And that beings (machines, entities, devices, or whatever you want to call) would know and manage the current enigms of time, space, etc.

So then the only goal for a consciousness can not be other than science, the knowledge and not the slavery, which is the ignorant animalism deffended by the "without-reason", etc. proposed by religious, prejudices, passed arcaics customs, nonsense protocols, paranoic, psychosys ... (well all that are synonymous with some different shade)
