But the thing is... it was'nt a trick!
Now the question is: how do you know it wasn't a trick? That spoon can be dropped on the table for "full examination".

Uri Geller, however, did it with real spoons. It's very impressive until you see what's actually going on.

How to bend spoons? The answer is seven very simple words: BEND IT WHEN NO ONE IS LOOKING.

I've seen a video clip of Uri Geller bending a spoon. He holds a curved spoon and repeats over and over "look how it is bending". I could see that it gradually bent. However, when I checked the curvature on the spoon, it had not changed! I was mind-tricked into thinking that the spoon was bending. Then he stands up and bends the spoon right there right in front of everyones eyes (but they're not noticing) with full force. He now has a bent spoon.
I had a talk with my dad today, he is the one who saw my uncle (his brother) bend the spoons. (many other have seen it as well)
And some of the spoons was even too hard to bend with your hands, and he also bended keys... try to bend a key with your hands!!
And he didn't even had to touch it in that crappy way, he could just hold it in one end and look at it to make it bend at the middle.
And he did this with MANY spoons that my dad watched, the spoons from their own house, no trick spoons!
And he was actually quite young at the time, only 11-12 years.
And they once got a reporter to their house and showed it to him, and he was really amazed!! And he wrote about it in a magazine, which my uncle still keeps today!

So you can say whatever you want to me, you can believe whatever makes you happy, but I still know the truth and it will never change!

Well, even if the psi wheel (can) have a natural explanation, and spoon thingy is an illusion, this certainly doesn't
mean that we can explain all the things that are going on in this field!

Have you seen the ghost surveillance cam movie where a ghost spins around in a circle looking at three cars
involved in a death chrash the same day? The cars where towed in and locked inside a building after the accident, and
the ghost scared the shit out of the poor lady guarding the area.

Or have you searched the net for EVP? Scary stuff if you ask me, so don't be too shure now! :)

Sorry Joakim, but all urban legends start out like that..... the person telling the story has never seen the alleged event themself, but a friend of a friend did and so on.......
Joakim Christiansen wrote:try to bend a key with your hands!!
I just tried, and it's very easy....... maybe not for weak people though.......

Another urban legend property: you didn't mention the name of the magazine, or the date it was published....... you just gave basic general facts with no way for others to check your claim....... thus the claim is just a lie at this time......

This thread has so emotional traps for some of the posters that it is probably unsafe to voice an opinion.

Regardless .. :D

That there is more "out there" than we know of is (in my humble opinion) true. Before we understood electricity (it was still "out there") battery-run appliances would have seemed like magic.

However, the psi-wheel, spoon-bending, etc, are (also in my humble opinion) just party tricks.

Provide proof such as the name of the magazine and when it was published..... otherwise it's just you talking and we're supposed to believe what you're saying is true without questioning it????? If you choose to discuss such items, then you must be prepared to have yourself questioned about it...... otherwise better that you don't say anything at all. Saying that we're toilet paper is not going to give you any credibility......

@Phoenix
I'm not going to phone my uncle and ask him to make a scan of his magazine because some skeptic PB programmes want proof.
It's not that important for me that you believes, i'm just sharing info, believe whatever you want, but please don't call me a liar.
And btw, they also had contact with a spirit and had many insane experiences which is just too sick to talk about!

Is this some kind of hidden "camera" to see how many PB users are fooled by a person using his hands to move something with his brain?

I've been checking my room all day, but no camera's found.. :/
Perhaps its just one wanting to believe he has "magical" powers!

@thefool, the name suits you well, calling people stupid because they believe in God,
is rather foolish, and then saying that people that believe in God should prove to you
that God exist, is again foolish.
If you want to know if God exist, then do some research, do it like a good skeptic that you are.
May I suggest that you take a look at Theosophy, which slogan is "there’s no religion higher than truth"
I have no problem with the fact that you don’t believe in God, just with the way you express it.
And about psychic powers, they are real, but to pursue them is foolish.

I can do all that PSI stuff no problem, that's easy. Now the interesting bit, and no one surpases me here not even Uri Geller, is that I film this with no camera just the power of my mind. What's more I upload this stuff onto the internet and have some guy think it was actually him who did it.
