I take advantage of this discussion to say my view:
It is stupid to believe (whatever it be).

Humans tend to believe in mystical things, but it is just for pleasure (or sweet pain for someones).

Notice that Joakim said 'stupid' in his first affirmation and in the second he said 'IDIOT', so maybe the Armoured conclusion is wrong!

OK my opinion:

If all this Telekinese stuff works, why was NOBODY able to proof it? I mean it is not that hard to proof it. I don't 'believe', I need a proof and that's why I do not believe in Religion and all that stuff. Anyways I think calling people stupid believing in religion and co is not right too, they just think in a different way. If someone here is really into religion and he thinks he knows why, I would be really interested, and if someone is really in Telekinese I would also be interessted why he is.

On the other hand you can't trust science too (you can belive in it). I mean they always proofe that the things they made before are wrong, so how can they be right (String-theorie etc...)? Propably Telekinese is really science (100 years ago nobody would have believed in radioactivity).

Maybe the whole universe is made up of small quares randomly moving around and only in this second, or better this millisecond, this squares make up my brain with the information that I am writing a text about crazy stuff, who knows.

So in the Endeffect we have to believe in anything. Science is the thing we can belive in to discribe our live, religion is (good) to give our live a sence (which isn't there from the science point of view), I mean science doesn't care if u kill hundreds of people and the commit suicide but religion does.

This is just my Opinion or maybe not I don't know I just wrote down what was going throught my brain. If someone gives me reasons to change my opinion (and I like them) I have no problem with such a thing...

Ok Konne started to talk about religion too, so let me give my 50 cent.
I think that the strong deny of the existance of god, which sciene seems to believe in, is wrong because it's against the rules of science to ignore a possibility without having proven it false. And this is where the problem comes in, if you want to do an experiment to prove for example an electromagnetic field you need to do at least 1 experiment with the field and 1 without. Well so if you want to prove either the existance of god or the opposite you will need to make an experiment where god can't possibly change the outcome. And this is simply not possible if god is everywhere and can do everything. You can never be sure wether he faked the outcome of your experiment or not. So if god doesn't want to be proven he can't be proven neither can be proven that he doesn't exist.

EDIT: Ok I must admit the tests the guy did are very reasonable, going to repeat them though.

That "idiot" has way more proof's about that its thermal than you can find proof's on the opposite :roll:
