I can't. It just sits still. NO one can do it without their hands near it ;) Otherwise, its a cheat.

But I don't!
Phoenix wrote:Joakim, that is so fake. But if you believe you have powers, and don't mind doing that test in controlled conditions in front of others, then you can become an instant millionaire by visiting http://www.randi.org/research/ and getting tested. But I know you won't. ;)
I know I did it with my mind.

With my mind, and I could make a new video without my hands near it!

From Dare's link: You must be at least four to five feet away from the PSI wheel or :
Thirdly, find a plastic cover such as a piece of Tupperware and place it over the pw. Make sure the pw has plenty of room to move top and sides. If you can not move it still try to change the plastic for a common household clear drinking glass.
otherwise it's just something you can try for fun and amazement at any science centre.

Could you show me a video of you doing it then?

You guys that can make it move should try it covered with a big clear glass jar (i.e. just turn the jar upside down over top of the PSI wheel). That would be more impressive and cut down on the cheating possibilities. If you can make it move when covered then it may be time for the Randi challenge

Mark

Joakim; Yes if i can record it via webcam. But it doesnt move when me hands aren't near.. (its the heat from them.. So something like what you did..)

And one more thing; i was downstairs in our kitchen trying it too; and it worked ok but it did move when i didn't hold my hands too, because of a LITTLE barely unfeelable airflow.

I had hard time doing it front of the cam today, since I feel pressured to make a new movie, and it's hard to focus then.
But I managed to spin it a little, just to show you that this is really not a trick.
But yeah, my hands are still near it, i'm still working on removing them!

And of cource, the link:

I showed it to my sister (over webcam) and to my mother standing here in the room.
My mother didn't believe it, she thought it was a trick

It's not magic or mind power....... I just made one and sat down with my hands there and it started spinning after a few seconds even though I was watching TV and not concentrating on it. So there you go. Just science.

If anything with mind-power could be proved and duplicated then by now it would be patented, copyrighted, and exploited for business, political and military purposes.

I think people have managed to tap and control alpha waves (wiring up a person's head) to get limited success in controlling simple things like the flow of electricity (a train set). But that is using a quantifable thing, there is no mystery, just experiments to see if it was a usable (exploitable) approach.

There are probably many undiscovered and wonderous things in heaven and earth, but IMO the psi-wheel is not one of those wonders.

But mine don't spin if i'm not trying to make it spin.
It can stand here for hours without moving!
