this forum is more terrible than a desert!

Post by josku_x »

hello!

I am visiting this forum quite often, but lately here are not many posts. Usually, when I come from work, there are more than 20 posts I have not read, but now, with some luck they are 2 or 3!!!!

THis is like a desert, better said, a sahara.

Or maybe you guys work on projects right now and when you finish them, you start bombing the forums with posts?

it's really annoying because I can't answer to others questions :P

*I am taking it easy, please forget I even made this post. lol*

More people must be making use of the forum search and delving into an ever greater stock of ready answered questions etc.
Eventually of course, they'll be no more posts because every question will already have been answered.
I may look like a mule, but I'm not a complete ass.

not every question!

How can I make a program that slaps the user using the monitor using PureBasic?

:D

(BTW: would be a nice feature, maybe Fred has plans for PB 5.0, SlapUser() )

Maybe they're tired of the senseless replies they receive from the clueless attempting to act smart, while upping their post count toward 1000.

Why not? Perhaps we can do stuff like this in the future:

Code: Select all

SlapForumUser(ForumURL$, User$) - Slaps a user in the desired forum.
An example:

Code: Select all

SlapForumUser("http://www.purebasic.fr/english/", "Psychophanta")
would be nice indeed

Just make it yourself =)

Btw, I noticed this too. Maybe its a lull in the storm for when PB4 becomes cross platform.

I agree with you josku_x!
What the heck is going on, did everybody take a vacation or something?
Or is there a nuclear war we don't know about?
I like logic, hence I dislike humans but love computers.

Please, please don't think about making a second German forum :( . We are having too lot newbies and flamewars and offtopic and ... . Some of us left the German forum forever, like traumatic and Sylvia. They were one of the "old sages". Yesterday, some talked about walking the processor like a dog. And how to feed it with the bit-state 3: treat the processor. And do you want to know the topic title? "Would you buy a PB.Net compiler?"

 Instead of posting it into the bin.

And I don't want to post something, because to everything I post I will get answers I don't want to hear.
bye,
Daniel

Ok, no war then. But could you say how many users vote for 'Ja!' for "Would you buy a PB.Net compiler?"

I wouldn't.

Kein Interesse 33% [ 24 ]
bis 20 Euro 34% [ 25 ]
bis 40 Euro 15% [ 11 ]
bis 60 Euro 11% [ 8 ]
mehr 5% [ 4 ]
bis = until
Kein Interesse = nothing
mehr = more

whoa! 34% would really buy a PB.NET compiler for 20€? It sounds cheap, but it isn't worth it, isn't it?

(And 'Kein Interesse' is 'No interest')
