Retro Remakes Competition anyone?

Post by Deth good »

In case you didn't know it. June 1st another Retro Remakes competition starts. You can win up to EUR 5500 worth of goodies. Just wondering if anyone here enters this competition.

Well, I am not going to enter this competition, but here's a tip to get rich by those: Start to program a good retro remake now, and make it so good it has 100% no bugs and it is very good, then maybe you have some time before the 2007 competition starts, and when it starts, enter it and post your game. THis way I won a nintendo power competition, the title was to make a 100% remake of the very first Super Mario Bros. :wink:

@Deth good:

Thanks for the link. I really like the retroremake-page and the idea behind
it. Unfortunately I won't have the time to contribute ... but I am really
looking forward to see the entries.

@josku_x:

Cheater :twisted: It's not all about winning ;-)
regards,
benny!

Thank you very much to allow us know it, Deth Good :!: :idea:

Is your this? http://home.hccnet.nl/scramble/projects.htm
Are you called Harold? -> http://retroremakes.com/forum2/showthread.php?t=6483

Else, you or him are a lamer! :evil: He say he is from England and you from Netherlands!!! You say that work is yours (see: http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.php?t=20098 ), and he say it is made by him. Who is lying? :x

Apart of that, The Scramble remake doesn't work here. It appears bad graphics.

Both. And both is the same. I have a ATI 9600, and it doesn't work well here.

I arranged your remake for the PB community.
My revision doesn't 'eat' 100% CPU process, and it avoid squared effect in modern VGAs. I hope you like and i hope you allowed me to do it without your permission. I'd be glad if you add it in your remake web, tell me if so, please. :D

No problem at all. Thanks for the credits. Most of the credits go out to Konami and the Purebasic team though. Konami for making this game (25 years ago!) and the Purebasic team for making this great compiler. :)
