Notice, the referenced code works perfectly with the PB code editor.
I tried your code on a Win98SE PC.
With jaPBe (F5 or F6), it does nothing (no error, no crash, nothing displayed).
With manual compiling from console, it does nothing.
When I try it with the PBIDE, the debugger crashes. Without debugger, it does nothing.

I had a jaPBe freeze yesterday. I copied a block (~30 lines), pasted it, accidentally pasted it again, hit Ctrl+Z (undo) and jaPBe froze. Task Manager showed 50% use (I have a dual P4) and I finally had to end the process.
I use the automatic backup and do plenty of saves so I didn't lose much

We now return to our regularly scheduled programming...
@sverson : unfortunately I cannot test these features so I have to guess (no SDK installed).
1. You have checked both 'Use SDK instead of Win32.hlp' and 'MSDN' ?
2. For MSDN, jaPBe searches for a "ms-help://ms.msdn" key in "#HKEY_CURRENT_USER, "Software\Microsoft\MSDN\8.0\Help" (not in your screenshot) : could you check this ?
3. I did not change anything in SDK-Help.pbi since a long time now. @Sub-Routine : sorry, I could not reproduce the problem.
