Regarding PB's inability to accept the statement

a = .975

you posed the following question:
How many languages do you know that accept this?
Here is your answer:

C/C++
Pascal
Perl
Python
PHP
Lua
Forth
QuickBasic
ScriptBasic
FreeBasic
Visual Basic
PowerBasic
LibertyBasic
YABasic

That's 14 languages or implementations of BASIC. There are probably more that I'm not aware of.

Interesting. I missed the other thread that prompted this one but:
a = 0.975
works. Seems like the PB compiler should be able to handle a = .975, no?
