PureBasic 4.00 - Beta 10

Post by Fred »

Hi,

The tenth and possibly the last beta is available on your personals accounts. It is mostly a bug fixes release and brings the following changes:

Code: Select all

- The double-click on a procedure name to go at the procedure declaration now needs the 'CTRL' key to be down, as it was not possible to select the word else.
- The french docs has been improved a lot
Don't hesitate to report any bug, we are heading forward for the final release ;)

Have fun,

The Fantaisie Software Team.

Have you been counting #bugsquashed since b1? If so, it would be fun to have a pool at release where everybody tries to guess the number. Winner gets a PureBasic v4 t-shirt. Whatcha think? Be fun?

The idea is quite fun, but we haven't counted all the bugs squashed, the number would have been too big (shame on us ;)).

Yay another beta! :D Lets hope for some more Beta's, so Fred can avoid updating the help file.

PB4 is very stable for me now

Great effort

Thanks Fred! I know this is pretty mundane, but I've noticed quite a number of spelling errors in the file PBFunctionListing.txt. I had updated my local copy to forward it on, only to realise it gets overwritten at PB startup. If someone can update it to correct the errors (or indicate how to make it permanent, I might have another go), it would add another nice polished element.

Thanks,
I've noted a backward file in "Purelibraries\Windows\Libraries\kernel32.lib":

In Beta 9 : 146424 bytes 23/03/2006 20:51
In Beta 10 : 195196 bytes 04/08/2005 15:00

It's correct?
