GFA Requiem thread

Post by Dare2 »

GFA is dead.

The enthusiasts live on.

Since it's demise, GFA has grown to be twice the language it ever was. A bit like "the good old days ..".

And so, to keep the ghost of GFA from roaming the rest of the boards and topics, and to give those in mourning a way to vent their feelings, herewith a requiem thread.

Post your eulogies, your paeans of praise, your urban myths here.

How comes every second word on this forums is GFA these days?
Will I reach heaven even without ever having seen GFA?
Am I lost?
Am I damned?

Please help!
Good programmers don't comment their code. It was hard to write, should be hard to read.

Seems that some people really have a kind of xenophobia.
Keep cool, try to use your creativity to write nice programs...

Cool... now tell me what you mean.. xenophobia?
a phobic attitude toward strangers or of the unknown. It comes from the Greek words ξένος (xenos), meaning "foreigner," "stranger," and φόβος (phobos), meaning "fear."

We are scared of something? What?

In science fiction, it has come to mean "fear of extraterrestrial things.
what the ..?

Hehe.

Okay, just what does it take to get a rise out of you?

I've been trying for ages now and no cigar (Or is that "no, Monika, not tonight" :)). And now (obviously, as this post shows) I have given up.

Edit:

Okay, just read some other threads and seen some of your responses. My timing was off, is all. :P
