I was in London too a while ago and found it very expensive, but I'll guess you have to look at the average income in the country when you compare prices.

The average income in Sweden 2004 was;

* Man 252 000 SEK (33 000 USD, 27 000 EUR)
* Woman 181 000 SEK (23 600 USD, 19 400 EUR)

and then we Swedes have almost the highest income tax in the world.

In denmark the average is $34,718, (my family is about 400 000$ per year though. I think the 34.700 is with those without work, otherwise i cant see its true :| however..)

Euro area, perhaps? I know what happened with the European constitution polls in NL, but you're in nonetheless.... ;)

Ah well, at least you had a chance to cast your votes. In Germany, the policticians chickened out...
cheers,

How can anyone live in Norway? Well, because it's one of the nicest and friendliest and most wealthy
countries on the face of this planet, that's why. :)

If cheap nicotine and alcohol is a prior to you, then go live in, or visit some other country! :twisted:

After the second world war, our government was tired of beeing poked around by the Germans et. al,
and decided to develop nuclear weapons for the protection of our homeland, but was stopped by the US,
who probably wanted that trick for themselves.

I'm really sorry they listened to them, though. If things where different we could have nuked the
stupid Swedes and got theire cheap ziggs and drinks for free. :)

What ever you do, don´t by alcohol in Norway :lol:

I´ve been there last year and we´ve met 2 girls who had bought 2 Bottles of Wodka for more than 100€ :shock: .

But the journey was kind of funny, we´ve been in Narvik, 250km higher than the polar circle is and those 2 girls made "holidays in the south" ^^.

Sweden is really cheaper, but alcohol is expensive, too, I think ;)
Give Up everything but trying!
