Post by Pantcho!! »

Hello PB community! :D
I am happy to annouce that i finished one of my little projects.

A website that you can send your images/midi/java midlets to your cellphone for free!.

URL: Http://www.cellphoto.net
Note:
- Beta version!
- The site may load slow since i am on low upload stream but that
should not make so much of a diffrence since its a small site
- Please for suggestions/comments and bugs DO tell :)

Happy customizing.

Wow!!
Works great just got a jpeg image on my phone!

Btw please be sure to inform people, that it does NOT need any cables. It needs a wap browser, and its VERY simple.

Some questions:

Are you using some hosting service that allow you to run some executable in cgi-bin?

the web site hosting and services are FREE.
beyond that , that is your local mobile operator fee.
other then that many other sites that tell you to send SMS the SMS itself costs you 0.2$ - 1$ and you are being charged again when your cell phone is accessing trough GPRS/DIALUP to grab the file you actually bought.

so i guess my service is pretty free.

its free and good. Why pay for getting pictures from various sources when this is FREE?

Hey man - glad to see it's working out for you. I know I was impressed with the setup when you gave me a preview. Good job :D

From the terms: "we do not support illegal content"

How do you know what's illegal? Do you preview the content first? Isn't this
a violation of my privacy? What do you do with the info after previewing? I
don't see a Privacy Policy on your site anywhere.

(BTW, do not take offense to these questions: I know you and trust you, but
these are typical privacy questions that someone else might start asking you).
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Xombie: Thanks, as you said that was only a preview i have some more planning for later on, i'll keep ya update :)

PB: Non taken, I appericiate your concern and you are right. It is my first website i launched so i am kinda new to this privacy terms issue, i of course know that i should review and change some of the site content, i just put it in a matter of a decent site look, not like a crap amatuer site.
so i will check how it exectly works and consult some friends and do the correct changes  .
