I speak spanish as my fisrt language, so please be patient with my english
I use to work in Rapid-Q and Visual Basic, but i find some limitations with this 2 compilers:
Rapid-Q is excelente, but is discontinued
VB new a tone of dll and its makes hard to distribute mi apps.
Im looking at Pure Basic, because i want some compiler that let me work and make small and fast apps.
I have some questions:
1.- Can i read the result of some console app? Lets say i run the windows FTP (console)... can i read and write to it? can i controle it from my Pure Basic application?
2.- Do i need some extra dlls or something to distribute with my apps?
Im gonna look around the demo version, if i like i will register myself. I wish that you implement some part of this Fforum to exchange examples. I found that the succes of VB is the great quantity of codes that you can download and learn from. Users learn from codes, but codes that make something, not just for demostrating how to make a button, etc.
