Need input from a PureBASIC/Ogre 3D guru :)
I was wondering how hard it would be to remake this in PureBASIC - the 3D aspects of it that is. Everything else I can do easily. Just haven't had much to do with Ogre yet. Not that this is anything complex - it's very simple in fact and nowhere near even alpha stage.
Was just the start of an experiment to see how GameMaker handled 3D and how hard a couple of the simpler aspects would be. Of course the downsides and main reasons why I swapped to PureBASIC for games is the file sizes as well as the speed. Anyway this is an infinite grid (the spheres aren't important) with a sort of electrical arc/lightning albeit a little lame.
Movement is handled by w,s,a,d and mouse. The DLL just contains a couple of minor maths functions to speed things up with GM. BTW The file is 1mb if you do download. I want to rewrite this in PB v4 and will when the docs are done. Will be a busy bee when they are ready: Crypto library to convert, Starsled game to finish and this game to start.
