I have followed the directions in INSTALL in order to install PureBasic on my Ubuntu box. I get the following:
~$ export PUREBASIC_HOME=~/purebasic
~$ export PATH=$PUREBASIC_HOME/compilers:$PATH
~$ pbcompiler
PureBasic 3.94 (Linux - x86) - (c) 2005 Fantaisie Software
A filename must be specified.
pbcompiler -h for help.
~$ purebasic
