Old bugs good, new bugs bad! Updates are evil: might fix old bugs and introduce no new ones.

As with Purebasic, latest means best (unlike with Microsoft), I'm using the latest beta, which actually works like a final !

As all my projects are written for PB3.94 (and one or two userlibrary)
i will continue to use it during some weeks/months, it depends.

But be sure i'm playing/studying/testing a lot PB4
Thank you Fred and the PB Team for your great work and support, really ! :)

I certainly hope the final doesn't work like the beta...
There are still to many bugs to do any serious (commercial) work and I hope these problems are all addressed before the official 4.0 release. ;)

I'm using v4.00 so that GetClipboardText() doesn't crash my app. :)
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

I like what pb4 has to offer, but until its final and a linux version is at least at a public alpha I'll be holding off. Though I did donate a healthly chunk already to help fuel the fire for the linux pb4 =)

ok... I have PB4, but I am not using it for anything, but for testing snippets here in the forums... I think it could be too buggy and early to switch...

I will continue with PB3.94 until:
1. V4 is a stable, documented final release.
2. My current projects in 3.94 are finished [ 1 way or another ]
3. I am more familiar with V4 by playing around with it for a while,
especially with the V4 code snippets from this forum

I will also keep a running copy of 3.94 for quite a while after stepping up I would think
:)

i think using which version of PB completely depends on what you do with PB right now.
for me, i use PB for little programs for my work, it means no more development and no more support for what finished, so i just switch to the last version as soon as it comes out.
but if you decided to write a more complex program for business or something like that so you have no choice to use latest version of PB.
the only reason for using older version is you started a program already and you don't have time for port it to latest version.
