The team behind FMOD released today the brand new version 3.5 with following news:

Its been a while, but its worth it! FMOD 3.5 is here!
New features! EAX3 HD support with occlusion and obstructions!
Ogg Vorbis native support upgraded to 1.0 RC3.
New in depth tutorials and documentation to make FMOD easier than ever!
New multiple CDROM support, memory system callbacks and memory pool support, updated VU and FX api functionality, and some 'really good bugfixes', and more! Go to the downloads area to get it.
CE / Pocket PC users! Check out the new mono mixers! (30% faster than stereo) and automatic power off/on recovery.
Linux build is now up to date. Alsa 0.9 support and better Vortex2 support is coming thanks to SUSE distro's dedicated support.

FMOD XBOX is available now! FMOD PS2 will be viewable by the end of the month.
Macintosh support is coming thanks to generous support by Apple. Expect FMOD for OS9/X soon!

Yes, thats true... - But most demo coders are using this FMOD or BASS dll for playing there musics in demos...

License - Free:
Yes that's right, if your product is not intended to make any money, and is not charged for in any way, then you may use FMOD in it for FREE!

This info is only for guys who are interested in getting the new 3.5 version...

Is this really changed ??
I thought the internal Module library is
using the MIDAS.DLL.

MIDAS is now called "Housemarque Audio System"

Upsss... yes you are right! Its ofcourse MIDAS.DLL Last time i played a bit around with FMOD and some other soundplayer related stuff for my game project... I think i should really get some more sleep, hehe
