PB coder needed
PB coder needed
I'm looking to hire a PB programmer to handle a specific job for me, and everything about the project will be outlined on a web page. Would anyone be offended or would I be breaking any forum rules by posting the URL in the "Announcements" section?
Re: PB coder needed
The Announcements section is for finished apps etc, not for help-type questions.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Re: PB coder needed
I fear the day is ending much faster than I had wanted it to so I most likely will not post that URL today, but tomorrow for certain. I am trying to assemble as much information as possible to avoid any confusion. I have a sample application done (not in PB) so everyone will be able see what I'm trying to achieve, but I want it in pure PB code for it's cross-platform capabilities. I also want to see what creative minds will do to my simple "knowledge management" application.thefool wrote:However mr. dkirk, where is that link?
I almost want to wait until PB 4 is released as I hope the cross-platform aspect of PB is enhanced. If the code has to be forked to two different platforms then so be it. The ultimate goal of this application is to have it run on Mac and Win with minimal, if at all, code difference. Getting the app up in Win is first priority and I have a Mac here in which to test and if need be compile. I also don't want this project to spread over a six month period either, so I'm in a tight spot anxiously waiting for Fred to birth that new product and my time requirements.

Perhaps "Off-topic" would be best? It's really like a job posting sort of.

Clarion for Windows from the Softvelocity company. Some of you might remember the old "Topspeed" compilers, well, Clarion bought Topspeed years ago or something to that effect. Clarion does a wonderful job of creating database applications, its real database-centric, but it's native UI is a bit old looking at no cross-platform capability.dmoc wrote:What is your current "knowledge management" application coded in?
