Now that the IMAC x86 version is shipping ... hopefully we'll see a PB MAC x86 version down the road :)

No impact, as doing this port should be straightforward (x86 asm is already working and tested, thanks to linux and windows, and all the OS X libs are written in C, bet why...).

but it does mean you will have another version to support?

it's not really another version (i hope :)). But for now we have things to finish and x86 macs will time some time before having enough users.

Also I would be willing to guess PB runs using the Rosetta powerpc emulation built into the x86 versions
