This is the second time i have seen this, luckily not on my own machine yet.
The wallpaper looks like this, and it cant be changed.:
I would be happy, and sure my friend would be too, if anyone has a solution to this.. Thanks in advance!
Well, oddly enough only 30% of spyware comes through your browser.thefool wrote:Again its not my computer.
I always make sure to have such stuff as antivirus, antispyware, the latest windows updates etc..
Oh! And i ALWAYS use firefox. Im not stupidAfter i made my little brother use firefox too, no spyware there neither
So its just stupid people who browse BAD pages with internet explorer that gets spyware.. Imho, all the people who dont use firefox should not use a computer
Exactly! And firefox that does not have activex support, and does not automatically install various things helps a lot.NoahPhense wrote: Well, oddly enough only 30% of spyware comes through your browser.
The rest comes from stuff that you have downloaded and installed.
Apps that you *think* are free, etc..

Wow looks like a real nice one too! Thanks!carolight wrote:There's a program called Hitman Pro that's written in AutoIT, that downloads / updates then runs all the free spyware programs automatically one after another, and you can configure it to shut down when it finishes.

The site's in Dutch, but click download, then you can install it in English.
Hi!Jan Vooijs wrote:theFool,
I am dutch and therefore can read the site in dutch. So do not be alarmed that Hitman Pro instals not only hitman pro but all kinds of other software!!
Hitman is just a SHELL around different other programs!! It is good, but leans on other software to do its functions!!
Cheers!!
