hi!!! can anyone explain me what shoul i install to programm a j2me game for my cellphon?? cos i got about 200 mb of sdk from java sun and i still can not make anything that would work in a cellphoen i tried usin a emulator too but doesnt work

are there ani tutorial for this??? where ??? thanks n srry for this offtopic but i dont know if ani other place to ask this!

BTW: Java is ok. You can't compare PB and Java. they are two totally different languages.

IIRC j2me = Java 2 Mobile Environment. You need this and the j2se and the jre for compiling mobilephone games.

I played around a bit with J2ME and coded a little game

There are a lot of good tutorials around which explain how
to install every tool needed. Have a look an that GameDev
article for example :

If you want to start developing seriously I could recommend you
to go with the ECLIPSE version for J2ME. But this is just my per-
sonal favourite.
