Wait wait, did I understand right that libs created for 3.94 maybe don't work in 4.0???

THis is not good. Droopy has to make a new library then ^^

yes, it seems so... you have to rebuild the libs to get work in v4 too (because of a new lib format)

uuuh that's ugly unless someone makes a 3.x to 4.0 lib converter.

sometimes a coder, has to code a little bit, so where is the problem, converting your code to v4. :?:

a good lib autor, will convert his libs to v4 too. if you are using too many 3rd party libs, its your own fault, by making yourself that dependent from other coders.

just my 2 cents.

that's why i advise everyone to build your libs as dll's, so you can keep on using them, with libs (that may directly access pb internal stuff) you have no guarantee on reusability etc.)

It would be easier in the long run to just convert the code to the new syntax. You will eventually have to do that anyway as you will want to maintain the libraries.
