I think it"s because Scintilla doesn't support Intellimouse, I've seen it written somewhere, but I don't even know what Intellimouse is :D

it does
- zoom control works
- extra buttons works
- autoscroll does not work

Well, then I don't know...
I'm pretty sure I've seen something about the Scintilla scroll with intellimouse somewhere, but I don't really remember where...

Perhaps that old scintilla version didnt cut it - the latest one might .. My jaPBe build uses the latest scintilla lexer - but havent got an MS mouse anymore (last one died - I also killed a genius one, in fact 2 genius mouses) one time.. playing quake3 almost for 12 hours.. one of the little chips burnt out (you could smell it before opening the case) the other time the buttons just were defective so I switched to an MS and I ended up killing it after lot of usage - now using an HP one which still breaths - incredible. (notice I take care of my hardware but this mouses are crap, nothing like logitech ones!!) too bad I dont need those here - just a good keyboard is all I need and have for programming.

It's not just IntelliMouse -- my Logitech mouse won't scroll the procedure bar
with the PureBasic editor either. So it definitely seems to be Scintilla's fault.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

I found the problem : scintilla uses a CTRL+W shortcut (auto-close) for panning event
