Interesting... what do you mean by this, exactly? Does this message
appear when both a valid and keygenned serial code is entered, or
just when a keygenned one is?

I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Both (I would assume) - as the idea is to let as little info to the hacker as possible.

Only if the poor cracker is your Mother In Law or something. The other ones out there are quite tired of homegrown protection.Hey guys, you're being very bad boys for poor crackers![]()

maybe
utopimania: simply not true. Every good protection has been breaken. I think i have heard your point on this before on ehm execryptor?
However simply not true. A MIX of both would be ideal, however homegrown protection gives you the chance to change the protection when crackers find break throughs..
And why do you call them pro?
How do you know they arent just someone like me who played a little?
you cant know for sure..

dagcrack posted this a while back and I found it quite useful:Bonne_den_kule wrote:This protection seems interesting.
Maybe some of you can make a guide, tutorial or a quick reference how it's work and with some small and quick examples?
Just an idea...

"heh, heh, okI think you and me are on different planets my friend. I wouldn't trust these anticracker measures for a second, they're
worthless if your app is anything more than a joke. Heh, heh, sorry.
heh, heh"
I come from the planet eath, where are you from?
You wouldnt trust it?.. up to you.
Who do you think has the advantage? the one with the original source or the one wich have to simple add something to the exe.
besides anything can get cracked. period.
And if i say that it will keep wannabe noob crackers, like you, from cracking the app isnt that a good thing? I mean, it will definently decrease the amount of crackers able to crack the app. I know that doubledutch programmed the protection system for his Spymon, and so far everytime a cracker distributed a key or cracked it it seems to have snapped.
