@Fred,
I belive:
PB4.0 should be release as a full version before the christmas days are been here.
And we should no longer wait for a first beta.
The stabilation process of the PB4.0 will be need also a few weeks.
And we have only 6 weeks before christmas is here.
Belive! C++ version of Puzzle of Mystralia

I'm really waiting for the alpha channel loading in images, I hope Fred didn't forget to add it

Ever heard of "good, fast, cheap - pick any two"?
Well it's already free (the upgrade) or very inexpensive to purchase, and I'd like it to be "good".
cheers

Some comment from the interview with Fred.
38. How do you see the future of PureBasic yourself, i.e. short-term (2005/2006), medium-term (within 2-3 years) and long-term (5-10 years)?
Short-term: release the v4 for Windows, probably before the end of the year. Then doing the v4 version for Linux and OS X.

They'll have to delay the end of the year then.

Short term was listed as 2005/2006, so it would appear he has another 13 months

I would like to see a beta of the compiler without the libs! We could find
the compiler bugs much easier cause we know that they're not in the libraries!
I really don't want more libs, just a cool compiler! I can wait for additional
functions and libs.

Hmm, PureBasic wouldn't run very good without the libs. How could we watch what our program did without windows, requesters, file output or console output?
