What downloading software do you use ?

Post by Polo »

Hi !
I'm searching for a good downloading software, which is fast, small, not bloated and free ;)
I liked a lot IDM, but unfortunately you have to buy it (and I won't pay for a downloading software, it's just not important enough and not worth the money ;))

If you're searching for a DownloadManager:
I'm using FreshDownload. But for sure there are other/better tools too...

FlashGet

Free version has ads but it works. Everyone has their own choice in the end but I've been using this for years and never had a problem yet. And I can manage my dwnloads with it afterwards, add comments etc. For the amount I download, I need it.

If you mean Opera, it's now free without the ads anymore. :)
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).
