How do you reinstall Directx?

How do you reinstall Directx?

I know this may sound like a dumb question but how do you reinstall the same version of directx over? i got the october version so i can't get a new version and just install but i think directx install is corrupted or somthing becasue all of my games geomerty flicker in and out and eventually chrashes...

October version ???

There's only one version @ MS and it's april 2004 ...

What your installing is the developer edition, not the end user one ...

You should uninstall DX first before installing it again, there's a freeware tool on the net that does that... Just google for it!

they have a end user version its just buried in the mircosoft site
and its not the developer version
