FORUM housekeeping/cleaning

last week (here at work) I had a strange looking page of the forum.

The little images (on the buttons and the tree images) didn't show up, but instead I had one red animated little face, on the first button position, that was laughing. And all was so slow...
I made a computer reset and all was OK after that.
Is it possible that some bad guy out there is changing the ip-packet data or some cookies that are flying through the net or changed something on the forum server?
BTW we have an active and allways updated Norton AntiVirus stuff on our firewall server.

There was a problem with the forums (well, my server actually) for a few days - Nothing to worry about though. Basically a bad script (not mine ) caused some serious slooow down on all of my sites. All fixed now though.

Incidentally, I'll be looking at making a few speed improvements/tweaks over the coming weeks.
