Edit/Find/Replace checkbox question

Post by utopiomania »

Why is it that I have to check [V] Replace with.. every time I open Edit/Find/Replace to find and replace
something ??. I've done some changes to my coding style and used find/replace a lot lately, and this checkbox
is quite annoying. What's the point to it anyway?? :?:

My request: Ctrl-r brings up the Find/Replace dialog with the Replace box already ticked and the Replace field ungrayed.

I agree. The find/replace box is not convenient at all.

Please, can you get back to the V3.93 one?

Especially keeping the previous information in order to replace step by step with the choice to do it or not.

The V3.94 one is convenient to replace all. But sometimes, I want to replace only on one part of the code, and for that, the V3.93 was much more convenient.

Thanks,

Come back to 6.11 LTS 64 bits because of an issue with #PB_ComboBox_UpperCase in ComboBoxGadget() (Oct. 10, 2024).

Being able to chose to replace in the selected lines only is a great feature, I dont know if you could before the latest version, but I would have thought that this is precisely what you want to replace in one part of the code.
