:)

I pretended to download it and play with it. I imagine I am having fun!

Not done much with it except (pretending) to load it. But it would appear to be safe to say I can imagine it looks ok!

Edit:

BTW, the dates went back to the 1800's on a quick check so it even caters for old codgers like you! (and me, unfortunately)

Oh thank you so much for the bit about my age!!!

Post by Fangbeast »

My cheeks hurt from pretending to laugh so much. Now BITE ME!!!

Seriously (Don't call me seriously, it's not my name!!), I get told several times a month that I don't look old enough to have a 21 year old daughter. MY daughter has actually been mistaken for my wife and my wife has been mistaken for my sister!

We are now a totally confused family (ROFLMAOTIPIMP)

Traumatic and I pretend a lot. But you can see from my application interface how mindles I am. Oh well, it works, ugly as it is.

I tested the AppFace DLL and skins on it and it make it as sexy as hell. Now I wish I could afford the AppFace license as that is one program that could dress up all my software so that they didn't look so dead ugly.

Let me know what I have stuffed up, missed, didn't do right etc and thanks for being kind enough to be a tester. I have no money to pay with, nor any loose women to send you.

Haven't tried AppFace myself, yet. But must admit that I am getting abit tired of having all my apps look kinda old'ish hehehe.

I already have a loose woman, what I want is a firm one
Damn, hope my girlfriend doesn't read this *LMAO*

Fang, hope you don't mind, I did some small alterations to the help fil, didn't change any text, just some formatting and matches the fonts. Also exported the result to pdf :)

Btw, the address book.sxw file is in OpenOffice.org format.

Dear
Mr. Jean Claude,

please don't tell my girlfriend.
Thank you for reading.

BTW: I pretend to check out your app this weekend.
Good programmers don't comment their code. It was hard to write, should be hard to read.

Trust me, any help is good. Been doing the current docs in AbiWord as it's easier than waiting for OpenOffice writer to load:):)

Will have a look.

My excuse for the crappy layout is my advanced age and general state of decreptitude!!

P.s. I am going to figure out how to colour the panel to match the background and see if that looks betetr than the way it is.

Sorry, too late.

1. Your girlfriend paid me already (Oops, that wasn't supposed to come out, hope you don't check the bank balance!!).
2. It was a pleasure to pretend to read this.
3. My obviously lying replies are to be disregarded as the lies they are, unless of course money changes hands:)

Possible Addition

Post by Fangbeast »

Does anyone need me to add a semi smart field auto fill? (on the assumption that anyone actually uses my software).

i.e: There are 40 fields in the database divided 4-5 groups of information such as the 'company' the person belongs to plus some details for the company like work phone, work eb page, work email etc.

Let's say that someone enters a new entry and then a company name for that entry and the company already exists in a previous record. The program could autofill the company entries from the existing record. Saves typing 5 extra bits of information again and saves making spelling mistakes.

This logic could be applied to other groups as well.

What do you think?

User feedback wanted

Post by Fangbeast »

Feedback needed from actual users (if any) of this program.

1. Do I need to add/subtract any feature.
2. Do I need to fix any bugs?
3. Should I drop this bit of crappy software??
4. Will the earth end on Friday?

Thanks.
