Im not sure if its just me, but soon as i hit the play button it a piece scrolls really fast down teh screen leaving a trail (no refreshing) the sound is screwed its just repeating a tiny bit (like 1/2 second worth) and all cpu power is diverted to it making it impossible to move the mouse becasue of the response time and the only way to close it is using Alt-F4 and waiting until it receives the kill signal which is about 30 seconds:!:
i can't play it what exectly did you do to this...
XP Sp2
Pentium 4 2.4
1024m of RAM
Radeon 9600XT 128M
(forget the stuff in my sig it hasn't been updated for a while)
@Dreglor: I suspect the reason could be hyperthreading, as the program uses the PBOSL hi-res timer, which creates another thread for the procedure it runs. Could you try turning off hyperthreading and give it another try?
If that fixes it, does anyone know if there's a way for my program to sense the presence of hyperthreading and not use it?

My cpu is a older p4 which doesn't have ht enabled on it
sounds like a problem with the hires timer though
If you have that processor overclocked it could be affecting the timer. Just an idea, the program seems to work on almost all computers. If that isn't it I have no idea.
