gmail invitation
Can someone send me an invitation to join gmail? I'd be happy to compensate you in some way, perhaps something nice out of my software folder or a bit of paypal. Just let me know what you need/want and I'll see if I can do it.

> Its nice the gmail? or is the same as Yahoo, etc?
I've got Gmail and Yahoo accounts, and the main differences are:
Gmail: 2 GB box, fast mail browsing, free POP3 access, poor mail filtering.
Yahoo: 1 GB box, slower mail browsing, paid POP3 access, great mail filtering.
That's basically it... composing and reading mail with Gmail is very fast,
but Yahoo seems slower and has ads if you don't AdBlock them with Firefox.
But Gmail has useless mail filtering, it's pathetic actually. I even e-mailed
them with suggestions to make it more like Yahoo, but they didn't care.
Edit: Some of you PM'ed me with some questions about Gmail, in addition
to the above features, there's also an app that lets you use your 2 GB Gmail
account as a "hard drive" which shows up in My Computer for storing files,
see my post here about it:

Yes please:)
I did mention that it would be nice to have one if you thought it was okay so I am awaiting your reply. Pity the tool for sending is broken again but that will change soon.

Actually, I just worked this out! It's not obvious like I said, but if you want
to filter all mail that's NOT addressed to you, you have to put a dash before it:
-myaddress@gmail.com
This goes in the "To" field of the filter. Why Gmail just didn't tell me this when
I e-mailed them for help is beyond me! (Or maybe they added it later?).
In any case, I was previously unable to filter mail NOT addressed to me,
which is why I wasn't making use of Gmail's free POP access. Now, I can,
and thus I recommend it fully over Yahoo completely!
