What's your nick meaning ?

Post by Num3 »

Just curious :P

Mine comes from the latin word numen (which can be written nume in portuguese) and has these meanings:

1. A presiding divinity or spirit of a place.
2. A spirit believed by animists to inhabit certain natural phenomena or objects.
3. Creative energy; genius.

fweil is just the first letter of my usual first name and my last name !!!

Since I use it for years (the nick) I can't figure out how I could change it.

I never could choose something else than my identity ... my own domain is francoisweil.com ....

Some people in a former life gave me a nickname : yoda !!! But since I can't rise any more of my chair, I decided to resign !!!
My avatar is a small copy of the 4x1.8m image I created and exposed at 'Le salon international du meuble à Paris' january 2004 in Matt Sindall's 'Shades' designers exhibition. The original laminated print was designed using a 150 dpi printout.

Mine is a powerful Karmic mnemonic that transcends all spiritual and religious esoterics and traditions. The actual phrase is so potent that I cannot divulge it here, especially as it has the tantric power of 2 appended!

The closest I can come is to tell you that, when uttered, it is an invocation to give the adept the courage to attempt something.

Aside:

It was first invoked by the one-armed Sufi (or tasawwuf) master who then clapped delightedly as a tree fell in a forest and made an unexpected sound, as he had dared to expect. See here:

@fweil: lol re the chair.

Okey I'll say it - mine comes from my hacker days. it was divided a little like this: da|g-crack da = the (well isnt da in german "that" ? its still ok ) g = my first name initial / crack.. well you know what that means. I needed two fake identities.. my real nick (you can know it now.. its GuShH - that one is my nick, comes from a mix of my name and "shh" you should know why the "shh" hehe ;) ) and so I came up to that stupid nick when I was about to unplug (thats my word - means dissapear something/someone from the net) a couple of sites and persons. (revenge? - yes | lamer? no... revenger!). Heck I even had a list of unplugged stuff...

But those days are over - Although I can tell you they gave me some nice experince on networking that I wouldnt of got elsewhere.

Umhh I hope you didnt lose the little respect you had for me now that you know this. :? :?
