I did verify that your fix also works on windows.
I think that it was just luck that my original code worked on windows.

When I first started this project, I just wanted something that would solve or help solve sudoku puzzles.
I had some success with simpler ways of coding logic to help ...

Thank you for finding the solution to the problem.

The fix has been implemented in the code.

I also got rid of the return key shortcut.

It was just that easy. When I read your reply I thought; 'what handle are you talking about?'
When I moved the mouse over the right side of the help window,
the mouse cursor changed and I could drag the splitter to the left.

After a couple of years absence I have started coding with PB again.
I have the latest version of PB (5.71 LTS(x64)) installed on Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon.
Running checkinstall.sh reports everything is correct.
Everything with PB seems to work fine except when I try to access the IDE help I get ...

I found this problem today.
XML builder problem:
setting start shortcut key to CTRL+A actually results in CTRL+F

I have downloaded and installed your latest version.
I'm seeing a problem with XML builder help.
I click on the ? then move the mouse over any XML builder control and click.
Help text appears for a fraction of a second then the OS reports that XML builder has stopped working.

Please install the XVID codec. That is something I had already done. I followed the instructions given in the first post of this thread and it all went smoothly.

None of the standard Windows codecs should be used All testing from this point forward will be done with Xvid codec.

I never mentioned this before but on my system I had to install three .dll files before the x64 would execute.
concrt140.dll
msvcp140.dll
vcruntime140.dll
I searched, downloaded and installed those three files in the windows/system folder then I could run the x64 version.
