I made a little test with purebasic and directx :

dxspeedtest

speedtest & speedtest2 are the same, except that I use software vertex processing in the second one. WOW!!! This is AMAZING. On my POS system, I get 1100 sprites with test 1 before it starts to take a FPS hit and nice and smooth with ...

[quote]Every scanner does this now and then.. Avast, Norton, kaspersky everything.[/quote[Isn't that the truth, it can also pop up with Firewall programs, too. I remember about three-four years back when a lot of exes were setting off ZoneAlarm for no apparent reason. :?

I want to get one but so far nothing good has popped up for sale in my area. =( You live in FL, right? If you get a motorcycle, I would avoid anything water-cooled.

When I lived in the Tampa area, I sold my old CB 350 and bought a new Interceptor 500. I would literally have to turn it off and ...

Cd's fall appart because of the great speed. Unfortunately, this is SO easy to prove wrong. Take any CD drive out, disable the laser, bypass the governor that limits rpm and stick a CD on there and run it at full-speed (higher than any normal use and faster than any normal CD drive). Nothing will ...

i doubt it really produces much heat. You can think what you want, but it doesn't change the facts, nor does it change the fundamental laws of physics.

It is also a common problem with DVD players and trying to play cheap grade DVDRs or VCDs in them. Here in the US, DVD players now carry warnings ...

I had this happen once with a CD of a game I had bought in the store that required the CD to be in the drive when you play the game. It can happen with cheap grade CDs or sometimes a speck of dust, but it literally shattered in a million pieces. I had to buy a new CD drive. Literally the CD gets ...

If you just wanted to make it for PB users, you wouldn't even need a DLL, you could use tailbite and make it a userlib just for PBers.
