And as far as getting an audiobook for free for buying a hard cover, I don't think it's quite the same thing. Do you get the ebook version of the latest hardcover fiction for free? No, you have to pay for it.

I *imagine* that taking a document for a book, and converting it to pdf format isn't ...

Just to be clear... I don't think anyone is saying he is obligated to give anything. And of course it's his material, and he is free to do as he wishes. The point I was trying to make, was basically it would be a nice gesture. By no means does he "have" to. And as far as getting an audiobook for ...

He already answered that and it's a no with a -->
Yup, the "No" I can acept, the  on the other hand wasn't needed, all it shows me is greed.

But no problem here, I bought the paper book and I'm happy with it so I'll pass on the PDF version, buying the book once is enough. I was ...

@Kale... reeeeeaaaaaalllllly? Yes. Really. That's what he said. Did you read?

@Rsts: That is exactly my point. Rather than knock someone for not using a function (that they did attempt to use) show them how to use it properly.

Perhaps you didn't read when he wrote "I could not find this kind of example neither from help-file nor here." And just because a search function exists, it doesn't necessarily mean that answers to particular questions can be found so easily. How you word your search plays a big part in what results ...

Alright. So I caved in and ordered. And hopefully in 5-10 days I'll be able to put this PureBasic to some good use. For those looking to save a few bucks (as I always am) after some yahoo'ing I came across a coupon code for $5 off.

Code: SCROLLDATED

I guess my main concern was that with new releases my code would need to be updated as well, and being new to programming I guess I wouldn't be sure what part needs to be changed/fixed and why....
I guess I should start programming first before I worry though! :P

....and hopefully the language is ...

Purebasic Updates.

Hey. Just a few quick questions. I've known about purebasic for some time now, and finally decided to go ahead and purchase it. I am really excited to learn this language and start programming. Which leads me to question 1.

I know that this has been asked before but I was wondering is there any ...
