Running your demo all that happens is that a message appears saying the 3D Engine can't be initialized. I guess that means I have a FPS of zero.

I'm running Windows XP SP3 and PureBasic v4.30b3.

No...You have to put the Engine3D.dll into the folder.
You can get it from your PureBasic\Compiler folder
I didn't add it to the Zip (too big) and you have it ;-)

Once I got the engine fired up it looks nice. The second particle emitter and also the rotating disk/gear seem to move in the opposite direction of the mouse. I know it's your demo but not being able to control things well with the mouse is a little annoying...

My results are around 340 fps on an AMD Athlon 64 bit 3500 2.21GHz XP SP3 & GeForce 6600 at 800x600 windowed.

675 fps on an AMD Althon 64 4200 2.19ghz, Vista SP1 & GeForce 8800 as 800x600 windowed.

n.b, fullscreen crashes.

*** edit, I get the same performance on all windowed resolutions

Add a download package with the engine3d.dll (for guests or somebody where does not test the PB4.30 beta)

Yes.

Additional info.

Works in windowed mode, not in full screen mode.
