Diese kann man doch dazu nehmen:
akt, der Akt
axt, die Axt

@SPH:
We have a book named "Duden" here in germany with round about 500.000 words.
You will find it at http://www.duden.de -> Duden - Deutsches Universalwörterbuch

There is also a Duden dictionary for MS Word available: Die Duden-Rechtschreibprüfung PLUS für Microsoft Office
All words A-Z are also online @ duden.de/definition (but not easy to browse this site)

Maybe you should just get a cheap french-german/german-french dictionary book,
for example this: Universal-Wörterbuch Französisch: Französisch - Deutsch / Deutsch - Französisch
It is only 10 Euro, you can rummage in the book and translate french to deutsch.

For translating online, try http://dict.leo.org/frde?lp=frde
I use the english-german translator on this site from time to time for searching or to check something.
I think it is pretty good, so check out the french-german part of this site.

For your smartphone: http://dict.leo.org/pages.frde/smartpho ... de&lang=fr

I've already said that:

@Danilo: Hab ich übersehen :oops:
Das ist einfach kein Job für einen Einzelnen :|

Is "Assen" (aßen) valid in scrabble? I thought only infinitive forms. On the other hand I would accept the plural form of nouns. :yin-yang:
