Na, n geklauter Computer wird doch wohl ne OS Neuinstallation bekommen, dann ist alles Essig.

Nicht bei Thinkpads, da sitzt Computrace im BIOS und man kann das Notebook via SMS sperren.

Hallo zusammen,

dazu müsste man wohl eine komplette systemerkennung machen, die dann an einen selbstgebauten server meldet. dann könnte man evt. erkennen, wieoft, wieviele IP's usw. Also inwieweit virustotal die exen die da zum testen hochgeladen werden verteilt.

Wäre doch eigentlich eine ziemlich illegale handlung von denen, oder hab ich da in den AGB was überlesen ? (wenn es nicht mehr ihre Testumgebungen sind)

Insofern sollte man sich das manchmal gut überlegen was man bei VirusTotal hochlädt.

Dem kann ich mich nur anschliessen. Auf der anderen Seite finde ich es auch gut so, denn so gelangen vermeintlich echte Schadprogramme deutlich schneller zu den richtigen Personen. Ich sehe es ja auch absolut nicht als Problem an, dass mein Progrämmchen da jetzt mit rumgeht, es tut ja nichts böses

Naja ... Wir haben a nix zu verstecken, aber wenn der Ott Normaluser so etwas machen würde, wird er gleich an
die Wand gestellt.
Ob es hilft, wenn er an die Tür zum Computerraum eine AGB annagelt ?
