Capture a movie from a video game?

Hi right now I use a program called Fraps to capture screens/movies from video games. I notice that capturing a movie from a 1st person game is much faster than capturing a movie from a racing game. In a raceing game I can only get a 5-10 framrate with the lowest graphical settings. I have a P4 3.2 and a Radeon 9800 pro!!!
I was wondering if there was a more efficient program out there that can capture gameplay movies from video games better than fraps. (So I can finnaly make a movie of a racing game)
Thanks to any suggestions.

I tried this and it captures non-game application well, but there is no way to change the size it captures and it is stuck on 5fps.

Hard Drive and Memory? I thought it was Processor and Video Card?
So there is no game capturing apps out there that is more efficient than fraps?

You can get Camtasia 3 for free presently (not sure for how long) if you go to the following site:

Here's the link to request a key.
