Before computers existed, it stood for Experience (XP for pen&paper RPGS).

Hmm, the first computer was developed in 1938 by Konrad Zuse. I doubt Pen&Paper RPGs are way older than the Lord of the Ring trilogy (1954-1955) ;-)
Even "The Hobbit" is a mere year older than the first Computer.

But hey, you're second assumption is right: Windows XP stands for Windows eXPerience.

Ah, that clears that up :D

Isn't it funny how Windows 'experience' is actually the most dumbed-down version of Windows to-date?

No, that's not true.
Microsoft has already released the specs for Longhorn and it will run on a 128 MB PC.

Where did you hear that anyways?

I'll believe it when I see it! My guess is that it might be able to do that, but ONLY with a massive amount of diskwriting (swap-file)..

WinXP Pro eats over 140 MB RAM after clean install... I don't think M$ will lower the computer specs with BlowHorn.. eh LongBlow.. whatever.. :P

I wonder why so many so-called anti MS users use Microsoft products at all.

Anyone ever thought about that?
If you don't think MS makes good products, why don't you just stop using it?

Maybe it's not so bad afterall? A?

And I wonder, why so many so-called pro MS users always bring the same arguments

To be honest, for office use, Windows is the best platform ever. But it could be much better, regarding the Money that stands behind it. Also MS legal, update and security politic isn't very ethical or good, or is it?
