Doubleklick ?

Hy fellow programmers,
my game is getting close to version 1.0
and there are only a few things to do left.
One is to make the handling better.
What I need for that for example is to know when the player did a Doubleklick with his mouse.
I don't use gtk, so I cannot get MouseButtonReleased Events.
I only get Mousebutton pressed or not.
Is there another way to know this ?
