I've always wondered how solitaire was written - now I know!!!

Seriously, this stuff is a great read!

Not that I have it, or that it's all over Kazaa and IRC or anything :-)

It's cool to see the comments like "Stupid hack..." - shows that MS developers are just as frustrated as the rest of us with some "features"!

Talk about digging up old threads!

I *think* what we were talking about was that Windows 2000 source code that leaked a few years ago. And no, I don't have a copy ;-)

I wanted to convert the sourcecodes to PureBasic now and show em how fast they actually can make Windows run!

Hehe :D. Naah, i'm not going to waste my time, but i loved the comments (I found'em on a nice site) in the source code... A hack, another, mother of all hacks , etc...

Shouldn't bother M$ too much considering theirs initially was a rip-off from Mac :shock:

I think you're right. IIRC Apple tried to nail them for it. May be wrong, though, that is going back decades into the last millenium. :)

Edit: Mind you, it is possible something called GEM was first cab off the rank with this.
