simple. You have a dll or a manifest file you need to add to your program.
Maybe more files. This program packs all files in one exe file. The exe file unpacks all files, and then executes a file the user chose. It have a nice easy gui too.
It is maybe wrong to write this here. It is more for users of other programming languages. VB for example. you need to add dlls to your exe. You know, there are pro tools for this to. It was supposed to be an simple alternative cheaper(free) solution. I have needed such tool a lot. I was just interested if anyone else used to miss these tools. When i was more newbie than i am now, i didnt know how to write that kind of programs. So i looked for programs to produce one file. Find no one that was free. So now i make one for other newbies!

I would find this VERY useful! Please make this public. I would love to see how you did this. I always want to make a DLL but then I need a whole installer just to make sure the dll gets in the right place.

Thanks

It will take much time. But, if you need it, search for "Creating exe" in
this forum. You will find an example by Boop64. You can use that, if you want and is in a very hurry of using. Then you can make your own wrapper too!. A tip: compress the extract.exe with UPX.

I searched and only found where Boop64 talks about file info, Not talking about creating .exe's I must be missing something.

Take your time. I really am excited about the thought of doing this and making my own using your example.

Thanks
