I've got four mp3's on my hard drive which I'm pretty sure came from a site belonging to a PB'er. The song titles are :

Maximum, Rock to the Rythm, Reality and Experience. They all have Virtualys as part of the filename, so I don't know if that's the author or a game, or a website or what. Google didn't make anything of it anyway.

The mp3 tags don't indicate an author.

Anyway, if anyone knows, or if the author reads this, I'd be interested in finding out who wrote them, what the license is, what the usage terms are, etc, because they'd be perfect in a game I'm starting work on, and I'd like to speak to the author about using them.

Yes, they are well my MP3 musics.
And I form well part of the members of the site PUREBASIC (seeks the Nostalgy demo).
I had left the site, during a long time,.
My musics all are recorded with the SACEM (against plagiarized).
But you can use them in your productions, by specifying my name in your productions.

So all you require for me to use these songs in a game is credit? That's very generous.Would you like to be credited as Virtualys or your real name?

Also, do you mind if I convert from mp3 to ogg? I cannot afford a license for MP3 playback, so I will be exclusively using the OGG format for music and sound effects.

Thanks. I have made a note of who to credit, so that I don't forget when the game is finished. I'm sure everyone's heard "when the game is finished" a few thousand times before, but I generally finish what I start.
